Father Hugh thank you for this beautiful reflection on Mercy. A virtue so badly needed in our world today. You summed it up so perfectly as the Heart of God found in Matthew 25. Continued Blessings on you ministry.

Fr. Duffy, your current meditation on the 5th Beatitudes, Blessed are the Merciful carried a lot of weight in the souls and hearts of all believers. You covered Jesus’ teachings on mercy and love that go pari passu. The world has abandoned this teachings of Jesus but instead embarked on tit-for-tat attitude towards others. Thanx for your in-depth reflection on the merciful for Christ’s sake.

The world, as you say, Bartholomew has abandoned this message of mercy and, regrettably, it is in short supply even in the Church. Still, the beatitudes are the core message of the gospel: the key to the kingdom within.

Hugo, of all the beatitudes, mercy is the one most needed in this merciless world. Your visual essay tells us what mercy is, so thank you

This recording should be presented as a Homily in all our Churches throughout the US…This is the sort of Pastoral message we all need in our lives. Thank you
