You covered Jesus’ teachings on mercy and love that go pari passu. The world has abandoned this teachings of Jesus but instead embarked on tit-for-tat attitude towards others. Thanx for your in-depth reflection on the merciful for Christ’s sake.

The world, as you say, Bartholomew has abandoned this message of mercy and, regrettably, it is in short supply even in the Church. Still, the beatitudes are the core message of the gospel: the key to the kingdom within.
