Fr. Duffy, you knelt the point correctly, sectarianism and lack of compassion have been the bane of our society. Even tribalism, nepotism politics and greed has eaten deep like cancer into the fabric of persons who called themselves Christians. Matthew’s gospel ch 25ff could be added to the parable as you amplified. The story of the abandoned woman you helped should be emulated by all. Thanks!
