I just want to let you know that my staff and I have been working diligently on developing a new comprehensive website. This project has taken us over a year and a half to complete.

The new website serves as a portal to different services which I will now be offering. The homepage (www.FatherDuffy.com), as usual, will offer my weekly blog at no cost to the reader.

From this homepage you can use the menu at the top of the page to guide you to information about my 501(c)(3) charitable Foundation, New Excelsior (www.NewExcelsior.org).

9780692539262amazonMoreover, using the menu you can also access information about my latest published book, What is This Thing Called Faith? This book has come to fruition under the auspices of our new publishing company, Lanalea Media (www.LanaleaMedia.com).

In this book, the gift of faith is revealed through the words and actions of Jesus Himself, the bearer of this remarkable gift for all Christians who believe in Him.

This is a pastoral work, and it offers fifty beautiful, scriptural meditations on faith, followed by reflections for the reader that enable him or her to respond, personally, to this gift.

In addition to the meditations and reflections for the benefit of the reader, each chapter concludes with an appropriate prayer. Prayer, it must be emphasized, is meditation on the scriptures. The entire book, therefore, is a form of prayer because it focusses on the Words of Christ in such a way that these Words become our words, and His life becomes our life.

The paperback version of What is This Thing Called Faith? is available for purchase here. By the end of the month, eBook versions will be available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, the Amazon Store, Google Play Book, the Apple iBookstore, Kobo and Overdrive.

There is also a discussion forum on our website so that people can make comments about the blog or any other topics that are deemed pertinent. I hope you will avail of the discussion forum to express your ideas and to engage in lively discussion with other people.

Of course, we still have our three Facebook pages and twitter account, and you can follow and/or contact me on LinkedIn and Instagram.

I am deeply grateful to my volunteer staff and to all my readers for the encouragement you have given me so that I could bring this tremendous, multifaceted project to a conclusion. I would like to ask the Lord’s blessing on all of you and I would like you to pray for me as we continue this journey of discovery together.

Warmly,

Father Hugh Duffy
