It doesn’t treat the convicted soul’s intense hunger and thirst for righteousness as a mocked perpetual .virtue. it rather highlights the availability of the eternally refreshing and satisfying oasis of divine righteousness in Christ. Indeed, Jesus assured, he who believes in me shal be filled, and shall never hunger and thirst.
